MRI Seminar Highlights Cutting-Edge Advances in Contrast-Enhanced Imaging

4 Sep 2026

The Department of Imaging and Interventional Radiology recently hosted an MRI Seminar entitled “From Evidence to Experience: Advancing MRI with Gadopiclenol” on 4 September 2026 at Prince of Wales Hospital.

The seminar featured Professor Thorsten A. Bley, Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital Würzburg, Germany, as the speaker.

Drawing on both clinical trial evidence and real-world experience, Professor Bley shared valuable insights into the evolving role of gadopiclenol, a high-relaxivity gadolinium-based contrast agent, in contemporary MRI practice.

The seminar attracted radiologists, radiographers, academic staff, and researchers, fostering lively discussions on emerging developments in MRI contrast imaging.
